Brazing SOM 3 - 60 - 62 Training (3 days)

(NO entry to the course until completion of the SOM3-05 course ) 

The curriculum ensures team members are fully familiar with Brazen Standards SOM 3-60 & 62

Also the course covers the understanding of the PED directive and refrigerate circuits

It includes detailed modules on proper component handling and techniques for safely managing brazing tasks in awkward positions in side a unit

SOM3-60 The preparation and completion of a brazing test consisting of 1 5/8" Copper Refrigeration brazed into a mild steel socket using manual torch flame in a horizontal position that is representative of all CAT 2 brazed connections .

SOM3-62 The preparation and completion of a brazing test assembly consisting of 1 1/8" Copper Refrigeration standard pipe into stainless steel tube using manual torch in a vertical down position that is representative of same material and orientation within Airedale .

Following the test, team members will undergo an external assessment to verify their practical proficiency and complete mastery of the Brazen standards.
