Brazing SOM 3 - 66 - 67 Training (1 Day) 

Need to have completed SOM 3-05, 3-60 and 3-62 for entry on this course

SOM3-66 The preparation and completion of brazing assemblies consisting of Copper Refrigeration standard pipe 3 1/8" (male) brazed into 3 1/8" same material (female) using manual torch flame in a vertical up position that is representative of connections of same material and orientation within Airedale .

SOM3-67 The preparation and completion of brazing assemblies consisting of Copper Refrigeration Standard tube(male)

4 1/8” brazed into 4 1/8” same material (female) using manual torch flame in a horizontal position that is

representative of connections of same material and orientation within Airedale Production. This procedure is intended to satisfy the requirements of BS EN 13134 and BS EN 13585

Following the test, team members will undergo an external assessment to verify their practical proficiency and complete mastery of the Brazen standards.
